So, some interesting news. I've been reading a bit about Obama's economic policy and well, it's somewhat disappointing. A lot of it seems to centre around spreading around wealth and wealth redistribution rather than wealth creation. One can only hope that he's going to pull a Bill Clinton.
Also, apparently Americans are dangerously stupid.
I guess you really can get away with a lot of things just by being confident. The disturbing thing is that this just proves that Colbert and Stewart are right on their assessment that America has entered a post-fact environment, where dogma and ideology triumph over factual accuracy. The important thing about the sound clip is that it reminds you that supporters on both sides are very much like that, it is not an exclusive Republican thing. Funt imes.
Then, for all you IB history nerds, here's a very interesting article that calls into question quite a bit of what we learned under Chinese History, specifically the role the U.S. played in Chinese politics immediately after the war.
